Nestled directly opposite the Royal Palace at the heart of Kathmandu Durbar Square, Temple Palace Cafe occupies a beautifully preserved old Newari building. The very balcony once enjoyed by the legendary Malla kings of Nepal.

Since 2019, we have been serving genuine Newari cuisine to locals and international travellers seeking an authentic cultural dining experience. Our owner-run team treats every guest like family.
